Some Lessons Learnt

Five Lessons from Plato
* Much of what makes us happy in the short run is an illusion.
* Demonstrating to others that what they believe is wrong can be dangerous.
* You can't count on people to recognize the truth when they hear it.
* People will fight to preserve their own ignorance.
* You need a long-term, empathetic strategy to help people overcome their illusions.

Four Lessons from Aristotle
* Happiness is a moral state, not an emotional state.
* If you are not happy, seek to be a better person instead of simply seeking to feel happier.
* Being good means doing good, Virtue is useless unless it leads to positive action.
* Help others to be happier by helping them to become better.

Three Lessons from Hannah Arendt
* People do terrible things more often out of the urge to conform - because they are worried about how others perceive them - than from a desire to do harm.
* Reflective thought and real insight are necessary for moral behavior.
* Helping other people to think critically helps them be more moral, and more successful in the long run.

Three Lessons from Cyrano De Bergerac
*Short-term rewards are tempting - Beauty and youth can sell with great initial power.
* Long-term satisfaction comes from passion and commitment, not from the short-term virtues like beauty and youth.
* The externals, like the specific words you use, can never make u for poor understanding or lack of belief in what you are doing or selling.

Three Lessons from Soren Kierkegaard
* Reason and insight will only take you so far.
* When reason ends, faith can begin.
* Real faith in other people is a risk and takes courage, but it unlocks immense new possibilities.

Two Lessons from St. Augustine
* Evil is not an active force, but simply the absence of goodness. So to fight evil, focus on making more goodness, not on winning battles against the bad.
* Put more goodness in the world, and a corresponding amount of evil will disappear, without having to win any battles against it.

Two Lessons from Abraham Lincoln
* Seek common ground when you make an argument - tell your opponents, "this is not the taunt of enemies, but the warning of friends."
* "Kind, unassuming persuasion should ever be adopted" - never seek to prove yourself superior, but always seek to learn from your opponent, even as you defeat his argument.

"The more you focus on helping others, the more you will succeed in reaching your own goals. Helping others is the most direct and effective way to reach your goals in your personal relationships, at work, and in your community. There is no better or more rewarding purpose you can find each day, and no more practical tool for getting where you want to go." - Peter S. Temes (from his book: The Power of Purpose)

Study Notes on Universal Laws: Law of Change

I can change my life from whatever it is right now to anything I want it to be, by changing my thinking, my frame of reference about myself.

FAITH, CHOICE and DESIRE.

* Thoughts become Things.

* As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.
"Thinketh in his heart" mean how he really feel inside about those particular thoughts -- with emotions and feeling associated with them.

There are two aspects for the Universal Law of Thoughts become Things...
1) A rational aspect - the statement of thought itself, the idea, the words, the affirmations.
2) An emotional aspect - the personal feelings and emotions associated with the thought.

* The Universal Law of Thought and Manifestation covers three primary areas:-
1. Self-image - thoughts I have about myself.
2. Attitude - thoughts I have about others.
3. Frame of reference - thoughts I have about the world in general, my world perspective.

* SELF-IMAGE
The self-image is important because it is the starting point of one's life experiences.

I attract thoughts, people and experiences which are congruent with how I think and feel about myself.

Therefore, for whatsoever that I want to manifest, the first step is to develop a self-image that is compatible with and supports these very thoughts, namely good health, wealth, happiness, etc.

* The Three Main Things which affect the self-image:-
1. Thoughts, emotions, and feeling developed in the education stage of one life, particularly in the early childhood - conception through age 7.
2. Environment.
3. Associations.

As for an adult, he would not be able to change item 1 as it had became history. He can definitely change item 2 and 3.

Study Note on Wayne Dyer Stuffs

Wisdom of the Ages:- "Don't Die with your music still inside."

Patanjali:-Patañjali (Devanāgarī पतञ्जलि) (fl. 150 BCE[1] or 2nd c. BCE[2][3]) is the compiler of the Yoga Sutras.

One of Wayne's favorite Patanjali aphorisms defines inspiration, and applies six rewards to the process:

When you are inspired, or in-spirit, at one with God/ess, and at one with some great purpose:
1) all thoughts break their bonds,
2) the mind transcends limitations,
3)consciousness expands in all directions,
4) and you find yourself in a new and great wonderful world.
5) Dormant forces come alive,
6) and you discover yourself greater by far than you ever imagined before.

Inspiration is not just an idea. It is a signal that you are living your life as if you never left your source.

Study Note on Thoughts

A study in Australia, by psychologists, for two weeks show that:
About 82% of the activities in a Typical Day is Habitual.

Deepak Chopra:
90% of the thoughts that we have yesterday will appear today.
Similarly, 90% of our thoughts today will be experience again tomorrow.

Study Note on Prosperity

* Successful people spend around 40% of their time to new ideas, and spend the rest of the time doing things they like.

* Being rich is living your life on your own terms- according to your possibilities, not your limitation. - Paul McKenna.

* Abundance - The ability to do what you want to do when you need to do it. - Basha

* If you are not rich yet, it is no body fault. It is simply an indication that your current "wealth program" that stay at your subconscious mind is faulty. All you need to do is to re-program it.

* Think and Grow Rich in a few sentences:
- All wealth is created with the human mind.
- Commitment to Completion.
- Right Thinking is the first step to get rich.

* Like power, money is just an amplifier. It doesn't actually corrupt anyone - it reveals who they are on the inside.

* If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll just get more of what you've already got.
Until you actively reprogram your mind, your past will be an excellent indicator of your future.
